Columbia Universitry Row House

In collaboration with Harry Chadha

The main focus was to make pressures and interaction between three parties (Columbia Rowing team, Columbia Athletics and the Inwood community) completely fluid while allowing each to use the building. Envelope layers react to such pressures as well as allow for the control and mediation between conditioned and unconditioned spaces (including the inside to outside), A training loop sandwiched between a copper and ETFE clad semi-conditioned boat house and thin carbon fiber canopy.
