Azalea Quinones

Azalea Quinones

Author / Autor: Roberto Guevara

Daring painting rising from a confused temperament with a need to show artistically what flows from her inner soul without taking into consideration the financial return. Azalea Quiñones’ panorama changes constantly. Her potential temperament is the fundamental spiritual support for each of her paintings. On the other hand, peaceful and tranquil images hold the viewer in a mystical atmosphere saturated with serenity, which convinced the Argentine critic of art, Rafael Squirru to include Azalea as one of the most important artists in his book 49 Artistas de América in 1989. Since that date Azalea with her astonishing creativity has played a significant role in the artistic expression of a new generation.
